Basil offers a distinct anise, cinnamon, clove and citrus flavor. This highly fragrant herb is most commonly used fresh, tossed into salads, or used as a fresh topping over pizza and pasta. Basil pairs well with tomatoes, garlic, zucchini, radishes, strawberries, and watermelon.
Storage: Basil is chilling sensitive and should be stored at 10°C (50°F).
